For Cam who needed a laugh and seems to find my crazy ramblings amusing....

These are the product of way too many late nights surrounded by not entirely sober (ok, not even a liitle bit sober) childhood friends.

Ten Rules For Life
1. Never do anything with the sole purpose of hurting someone else
2. Don't press buttons unless you know what they are going to do. (Yes Cam, I usually fail at this one)
3. Believe in conscience instead of guilt. (Guilt is unconstructive)
4. Try not to date and never marry anyone who looks, acts, thinks, or in any other way resembles your father/mother. (depending on your sexual orientation)
5. Avoid questions that tend not towards edification.
6. Don't take advice from fools.
7. Never try to get through the day without at least one healthy rationalization.
8. Always retain the ability to dismiss the ridiculous.
9. Don't allow yourself to be drawn into other people's insanity and try not to draw others into your own.
10.Never compensate for your own faults by projecting externalized neuroses onto the auto-responses of others.

Where did the concept of responsibility go?

I seriously had a LONG debate on whether a certain 9 year old was capable of understanding that spitting off a balcony (thankfully missing the people below) was wrong. Give me strength.
